Full of values
EPS insulates by keeping warmth in and heat out. It absorbs knocks and shocks. It combines feather-light weight with robust properties depending on the selected density. And it shows the values that count depending on the application: from fire protection and resistance to moisture and food safety.
Full of strong arguments
Few materials have such a clearly positive economic and ecological impact as EPS: 98 percent of EPS is air power. Consuming just a small amount of resources when being produced makes it possible to save even more later down the road, for example by being used for building insulation. EPS is practical when being processed, has had a stable value for decades and is fully recyclable. Cost-effective to produce, lightweight yet robust, highly applicable with numerous technical properties and the fact that it is physiologically harmless are all factors that have made EPS one of today’s most important materials.
